This lecture will explore the management of dental trauma, with a particular focus on children and adolescents, where preserving compromised teeth is often essential. Through a strongly case-based approach, it will address the biological principles of pulp and periodontal healing, root resorption and ankylosis, as well as the critical role of early emergency care.
Clinical cases will illustrate both the application and limitations of international guidelines, highlighting the need for individualized decision-making. The session will also cover minimally invasive and biologically sound approaches to achieve functional and highly aesthetic restorative outcomes.
