ESE Committee Members

Committee Members serve on a voluntary basis and are directly accountable to the Executive Board for their performance.

Committee Members work under the guidance of the Committee Chair and actively participate in online and in-person meetings, ESE activities, and events. They support the ESE’s scientific and organisational work—particularly during major meetings—while promoting the Society as ambassadors within their professional communities.

Committee Members benefit from enhanced recognition and visibility within the ESE and the wider professional community, including formal ambassador status and annual certification. They also enjoy practical advantages at ESE meetings, such as registration discounts, access to exclusive networking areas, and complimentary social events.

All members act in good faith and in the best interests of the ESE, upholding its mission with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest from ESE Members are welcomed!

Get Involved with the ESE

Would you like to contribute to the work of the ESE?

Members are invited to express their interest in serving on one of the ESE’s committees, which play a key role in advancing education, research, and clinical practice across Europe.

Submitting an expression of interest is a great way to get involved, share your expertise, and help shape the future of the specialty.

Committee positions become available periodically, and all submitted expressions of interest will be reviewed by the ESE Executive Board as opportunities arise.

Please note: due to demand and a limited number of committee seats, submission of an expression of interest does not guarantee appointment.
